My Homecoming

Once we got home the house was so quiet. The kids were at my mom's house for the weekend to give me some time to recuperate. We decided to tell them a little as possible. We didn't want them being scared. So we just told them I had an infection in my chest, and the doctor was going to take it out. As I headed into my bedroom, I noticed a new comforter set, and pillows on the bed. The room was cleaned, and flowers were draped on the bedside table and the dresser. Just when I sat on the bed my husband yelled "OH MY GOODNESS" and I thought what, what happened. Then I looked and seen a new 26"LCD TV on the dresser where my old 19" one once sat. I had that TV for almost eighteen years. Ric bought it for me when we were dating. I was already an emotional mess, and this just sent me over the edge. What love and thoughtfulness went into this by my sister and sister-in-law. Then they filled the fridge full of organic food and put a turkey breast in the crock pot for me. I knew they loved me but this showed me just how much. My other sister who is a nurse has been at my side day and night to help me when Ric needs a break or goes off to the store. She cleaned the rest of my house, and windows. I felt like two cents watching her on her hands and knees scrubbing the floor. This is real hard for me to sit and do nothing. My family especially my husband has really shown me how much I'm loved
